Mother-to-Mother Peer Support Programmes

Mother-to-Mother Peer Support Programmes provide additional support and information for expectant and new mothers to encourage them to breastfeed for longer

Could you commit to a minimum of 4 hours a month for up to 2 years?

• Have you successfully breastfed for 4-6 months in the last four years?

• Would you like to help other mothers to succeed?

• Have you time to give?

The Northern Trust is committed to promoting and supporting breastfeeding.

The Trust is hosting an information evening on Wednesday 11th January from 6.00pm – 7.30pm in Maternity and Gynae Out Patients Department (OPD 4) at Antrim Area Hospital with the aim of providing details on the Mother-to-Mother Breastfeeding Peer Support Programme.

Alternatively, if you are interested and want to find out more please contact Marie McCotter, Northern Trust Volunteer Co-ordinator on 028 9446 5211 Ext: 323450.
