NHSCT 2017/18 Financial Planning - Savings Plan - Consultation

The Health and Social Care (HSC) system has been working collaboratively to address the significant financial pressures facing health and social care in 2017/18 in order to meet the statutory requirement of achieving a balanced financial plan across the HSC. Trusts have been tasked by the Department of Health (DoH) with developing draft savings plans to deliver their share of a total of £70m of savings in 2017/18.

The Trust is now required to consult on the draft proposals in its 2017/18 Savings Plan in line with the Department’s policy guidance circular: Change or Withdrawal of Services – Guidance on roles and responsibilities, dated 26 November 2014.
