Dalriada Hospital

Dalriada Hospital in Ballycastle offers a range of non acute, community hospital services.

The hospital has 32 inpatient beds. Six beds are for patients requiring rehabilitation following fracture/orthopaedic surgery and two beds are for palliative care. The Regional Multiple Sclerosis (MS) Respite Centre has 12 beds, where patients can get two weeks respite. The remaining 12 beds are used by GPs, to admit patients from their homes who need extra care (step up) or those that are transfered from acute hospitals such as Causeway or Antrim Area (step down).
