Robinson Hospital in Ballymoney is an Intermediate Care Unit with 25 inpatient beds.
Five beds are for the Home from Hospital Rehabilitation Team, to be used following surgery or soft tissue injury. The remaining 20 beds are used for GP admissions, either step up from their own home or step down from an acute hospital. Five of these beds can be used for palliative respite or symptom control.
Robinson Hospital also includes a Child Development Centre, Community Physiotherapy Department, Community Dietician and Parkinsons Specialist Nurse. Ballymoney Health Centre is beside Robinson Hospital.
