About the hospital
Whiteabbey Hospital in Newtownabbey offers a range of services.
If you require assistance when you arrive at the hospital, for example a wheelchair, please ask at any of the hospital receptions which are located at the entrance of the main building, McCaughey House and in the Outpatient block.

The hospital has a restaurant called Grapevine which is in a separate building, with the opening times as follows:
8.30 am -10.30 am
12 noon - 1.30 pm
Please note there is no hospital shop.
Getting to the hospital
Whiteabbey Hospital is situated 7 miles from Belfast, close to the M2 motorway just off the Doagh Road in Newtownabbey. You may find our location map useful if you are travelling to the hospital.
When travelling on the M2 motorway, turn off at Junction 4 and head towards Belfast on the Antrim Road. Turn left onto the B153. When you come to a roundabout, take the third exit onto the Doagh Road. The hospital will be on your left.

There are free carparks available on the hospital site.
Please note that the Trust have employed Parking Enforcement Agency (PEA) to provide traffic enforcement on Antrim and Causeway Hospital Sites, as well as other NHSCT premises, to ensure we provide stress free parking for our patients, visitors and staff, as well as keeping emergency exits clear. This enforcement will be by way of either a Parking Charge Notice (PCN) or wheel-clamp.
The Company's regulations will be displayed on the signage throughout Trust sites. If any of these regulations are breached you will be expected to pay Parking Enforcement Agency (PEA) in accordance with their fees displayed on the signage. The parking regulations apply to all visitors, contractors and Trust staff.
