Whiteabbey Hospital includes a main hospital building and many other smaller buildings such as The New Ward Block, Norah Bain House and Ward 8. Key departments are signed throughout the site.

About the hospital
Whiteabbey Hospital in Newtownabbey offers a range of services including a Minor Injuries Unit which is open from 9.00am - 5.00pm, Monday-Friday, excluding bank holidays.
If you require assistance when you arrive at the hospital, for example a wheelchair, please ask at any of the hospital receptions which are located at the entrance of the main building, McCaughey House and in the Outpatient block.

The hospital has a restaurant called Grapevine which is in a separate building, with the opening times as follows:
8.30 am -10.30 am
12 noon - 1.30 pm
Please note there is no hospital shop.
Getting to the hospital
Whiteabbey Hospital is situated 7 miles from Belfast, close to the M2 motorway just off the Doagh Road in Newtownabbey. You may find our location map useful if you are travelling to the hospital.
When travelling on the M2 motorway, turn off at Junction 4 and head towards Belfast on the Antrim Road. Turn left onto the B153. When you come to a roundabout, take the third exit onto the Doagh Road. The hospital will be on your left.
