Growing older means poor health and disability

- Increasing age is not always accompanied by ill health and disability  – preventative measures like healthy eating, physical activity and managing stress can help reduce the risk of chronic disease.

Memory loss is an inevitable part of ageing

- You may notice you don’t remember experiences as easily – however significant memory loss is not an inevitable part of ageing.

You can’t teach an old dog new tricks

Older adults are just as capable of learning new things, thriving in new environments and sharing their wisdom and experience with many generations

Depression is part of ageing

Depression is not a normal or necessary part of ageing and with treatment and support you can get back to enjoying your golden years
