Carer support

There are six carer support groups in the Northern Trust area.

These groups discuss matters which affect the every day lifes of carers and the people they care for - everything from home security and carer’s rights to aromatherapy and fund raising activities.

Carer support group for carers of stroke survivors in the Causeway area.

The group meets every six weeks in Causeway Hospital and membership is open to anyone who is a carer of a stroke survivor in the area. If you would like further information, please contact Patricia Holley, Stroke Specialist Nurse, Causeway Hospital on 028 7032 7032, Ext 5697.

The Carers Northern Ireland Information service is available from 10.00 am-12.00 noon and 2.00 pm–3.00 pm, Monday-Friday.
