Breastfeeding Promotion Team

The Breastfeeding Promotion Team, which includes representatives from each locality, is led by by Liz Hood, Infant Feeding Lead Community.

This team of skilled key workers support the Breastfeeding Co-ordinator in achieving the standards required by UNICEF to maintain the prestigious Baby Friendly accreditation that has been awarded to the Health Visiting Service.

The Breastfeeding Promotion Team members facilitate and evaluate breastfeeding support services and provide information on breastfeeding issues to their locality teams.
