Dementia Occupational Therapy Service

Occupational therapists in the dementia team carry out individual comprehensive assessments of a person’s ability to perform a range of daily living activities. The assessment is completed in the person own home.

The occupational therapy team have a range of skills to help the person with dementia keep up everyday tasks and remain independent for as long as possible after they develop dementia. The occupational therapist can give you advice on adapting your environment and compensatory memory strategies to promote your independence.

The Occupational Therapy Dementia Team for Ballymoney, Coleraine and Moyle service users is based in Coleraine.

Hours of service
The service is available from 9.00am to 5.00pm Monday to Friday in Rosebrook.
