Breastfeeding and Infant Development workshop

The Trust is partnering with Cushendall Development Group to hold a Breastfeeding and Infant Development Workshop on:

Wednesday 12 February from 7 – 8.30pm at the Old School House in Cushendall

Topics covered will include:

• Where it all begins: The baby’s experiences and environment begins long before they make an entrance to the world
• Keeping healthy in pregnancy
• Getting to know your baby
• Baby’s brain development and what you can do to enhance it
• How to enhance responsive mother baby relationship
• The impact of oxytocin and dopamine on mothering behaviours
• Benefits of breastfeeding for you and your baby
• When all is not well
