Gillian Traub, Director of Operations

Gillian was appointed Director of Operations of the Northern Health and Social Care Trust on 25 September 2023. Prior to this she held the position of Director of Adult Community, Older Peoples Services and Allied Health Professionals in the Belfast HSC Trust.

Gillian has worked in health and social care services in Northern Ireland since 2006 gaining significant operational and strategic management experience leading local and regional services, and she has a strong track record in quality improvement.

A former NHS England Graduate Management Trainee, Gillian subsequently worked for 5 years in two large NHS Trusts in London. Gillian is a graduate of Oxford University and a Generation Q Fellow with the Health Foundation, during which she attained a Masters in Leadership and Quality Improvement from Hult International Business School.
