Dalriada Hospital
Dalriada Hospital is located on the Coleraine Road in Ballycastle. The Hospital provides a range of non- acute, community hospital services.
The Hospital is a community rehabilitation facility which has 24 beds.
We provide care for patients requiring rehabilitation, palliative care, or who require further assessment following an acute hospital admission.
The Regional Multiple Sclerosis (MS) Respite Centre is also based in the hospital where patients with MS can avail of respite care.
Local GPs manage the medical needs of patients who are admitted to this Hospital. Patients are admitted to this unit as ‘step down’ from acute hospitals or as ‘step up’ from home. All patients must be assessed as suitable to be cared for in this setting and during their period of admission are supported by our multidisciplinary team to facilitate their discharge.
