Macmillan Benefits Advice Service

The Service provides advice and information about benefits, tax credits and grants to help people cope with the cost of living with cancer.

The Service is available to anyone who has recently been diagnosed with cancer, is currently undergoing treatment or is receiving palliative care as a result of a cancer diagnosis.

Patients can be seen locally in Antrim Area Hospital or Causeway Hospital by the Macmillan Benefits Advisers.

Social workers

A social worker may be able to give you advice on sources of financial help.   The social worker is part of your multi-disciplinary team and is available for you throughout your care at the Northern Trust.

Citizens’ Advice Bureau
