Children’s Speech and Language Therapy
The Northern Trust Speech and Language Therapy (SLT) service aims to support you and your child in a range of ways, to help develop your child’s speech, language and communication skills.
This therapy service has continued to operate throughout the pandemic to help support you and your child through your therapy journey.
Over the past year we have developed different ways to work with children and we have now remodelled how our service is delivered. We now provide a blended approach to therapy which means we offer different appointments at different points along your child’s journey through therapy, such as;
- telephone
- video enabled appointments
- access to information and webinars online
- face to face appointments
If your child is known to Speech and Language Therapy or has been referred recently, you will be contacted by a Speech and Language Therapist to discuss and agree how best to support your child and you at this time.
If you wish to speak to a Speech and Language Therapist, please telephone the appropriate Booking Office for your area. Due to the changes within the service as a result of Covid -19, there may be a delay in responding to enquiries and we thank you for your patience.
