Trust Board to consider recommendation on future of general surgery service
The Northern Health and Social Care Trust is to seek the approval of its Board on a proposed future delivery model for its general surgery service.
Following the conclusion of the public consultation, the final report and a recommendation on a proposed way forward will be brought to the public meeting of the Trust Board on Thursday 22 May, at The Braid, Ballymena.
Work on transforming the Trust’s general surgery service has been ongoing for some time and there has been extensive engagement with staff over the last year, as well as consultation with the local community through a public consultation exercise and series of public meetings.
The Board of the Northern Trust will meet this Thursday morning at The Braid, Ballymena, at 10.30am.
