Get involved with This is our Health

The Chief Executive of the Northern Trust stands with the Health Minister Mike Nesbitt and another man, with a This is our Health backdrop.

This is our Health is a public conversation about how we can work together to help people in Northern Ireland live longer, healthier and more fulfilling lives.

Most of what shapes our health happens in everyday life, at home, with family and in our communities. It’s not just when we come into contact with health and social care services.

At the same time, there are moments when services matter hugely, and when they need to work well, quickly and reliably.

This work is about understanding both and exploring where each of us is best placed to make a difference.

Launched by the Health Minister Mike Nesbitt, the new engagement programme aims to establish an agreed “health and care deal” between Northern Ireland citizens and the HSC.

It will identify what people need most from the health service and the part they can play in making those services work better.
