Social care procurement
The Commissioning of all Social Care Services for the Northern Trust Community is delivered and co-ordinated on behalf of the NHSCT by the Social Care Procurement Team based in Spruce House, Ballymena who also provides specialist skills and knowledge in the areas of Procurement and Contract Management.
The team is supported by the Procurement and Logistics Service (PaLS), which is accredited as a Centre of Procurement Expertise (COPE).
eTender NI – notification
The Trust publishes those procurement opportunities for Social Care Services that are to be awarded via a Competitive Tendering process on the eTenders NI Portal.

Goods & services procurement
The procurement of all other goods and services for the Northern Trust is managed and delivered by the Procurement and Logistics Service (PaLS), which is accredited as a Centre of Procurement Expertise (COPE). PaLS, based in Ballymena, co-ordinates contracts for goods and services on behalf of the Trust. PaLS is part of the Business Services Organisation (BSO) which provides a broad range of regional business support functions and specialist professional services to the whole of the health and social care sector in Northern Ireland.
