Signs and symptoms

The symptoms of a haematological disorder can be many and varied.

Such symptoms may include:

  • unusual bleeding, bruising or infection
  • fatigue
  • shortness of breath
  • bone pain
  • enlargement of lymph glands
  • weight loss
  • drenching night sweats
  • general feeling of unwell or run down

Such varied and non-specific symptoms may occur in a number of illnesses and are not necessarily associated with haematological disorders.

If you are concerned about having any of these signs and/or symptoms, please consult with your GP immediately.
