Fatigue Management

Fatigue is a very common problem for people with cancer. It can leave them feeling very tired and exhausted all or most of the time.

There are things that can be done to help manage fatigue, for example, by changing the way people plan and fill their day.

This workshop programme aims to help:

  • Understand what causes fatigue, how it affects people and how to recognise the triggers
  • Improve how to manage the demands of everyday life, including our own and others’ expectations
  • Understand the importance of sleep, exercise and diet in relation to fatigue
  • Learn relaxation skills
  • Find out about other available support services and resources
  • Share experiences with others and learn from each other
