Maternity Services
The Trust has a Maternity Unit in Antrim Area Hospital and a Maternity Hub in Causeway Hospital, Coleraine. There is also a dedicated team of community midwives who provide a full range of midwifery care to women who live within the Northern Trust area.

UNICEF Baby friendly accreditation
Every year approximately 4000 babies are born in the Northern Trust area. The Northern Trust promotes and supports breastfeeding and has UNICEF Baby friendly accreditation, achieving the highest standard, the Gold award in 2018 and then re-accredited in 2022.
