The Good Morning Service offers free, confidential daily phone calls to people in the community who may need reassurance or support.
The service is open to:
- Older people
- People with a disability
- People experiencing mental health or addiction issues
- Anyone affected by domestic violence
How it helps
A friendly call each day can:
- Provide reassurance and a listening ear
- Help reduce loneliness and isolation
- Support better health and wellbeing
- Ease worries about personal safety
The service can also connect people with local community groups, activities, and support services.
Working alongside health services
Good Morning complements Health and Social Care services. It continues to support people after formal care ends and helps them stay connected during both good health and times of illness.
