Eddy is an eight-year old boy with a diagnosis of severe learning disability and autism. He attends a special school in the wider Antrim area and requires a short-term foster home within the Northern area.

About Eddy

Eddy is a young boy who enjoys rough and tumble play, going on trips to the local park, coming home from school, watching YouTube, and engaging with puzzles, number games, actions songs and letters.

He is currently awaiting an assessment for Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD).

He is a very loveable boy with a great personality and is fun to be around.

He has family time twice each week with his sibling and parent.

Support for fostering

Foster carers receive financial support, which will include an additional fee alongside fostering allowance).

Ongoing social work support is also provided, as well as training and development opportunities.
