The Rowan is Northern Ireland’s regional Sexual Assault Referral Centre (SARC), providing specialist care and support for anyone who has experienced sexual violence or abuse.
Our dedicated and highly trained team is available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year to support both children and adults. We provide a safe, confidential and compassionate service for people who have experienced rape, sexual assault or sexual abuse, whether the incident happened recently or in the past.
Accessing the service
You can be referred to The Rowan through the Police Service of Northern Ireland (PSNI), who can arrange an appointment for you.
If you are aged 18 or over, you can also self-refer without involving the police. All visits to The Rowan are by appointment only.

Parking
Free parking is available at The Rowan. The main car park is located directly in front of the building.
However, if you park in any of the other hospital car parks, charges will apply.
