Our services

Read more about our contraceptive and sexual health services.

Urogynaecology

This service focuses on conditions affecting the bladder, bowel and pelvic organs, including:

  • Urinary incontinence
  • Recurrent urinary infections (cystitis)
  • Pelvic organ prolapse

Cervical screening

Cervical screening helps prevent cancer by detecting early changes in the cervix (neck of the womb). These changes can be treated before they develop further.

Colposcopy

A colposcopy is usually offered if cervical screening shows changes in the cells of the cervix.

It is similar to a smear test but allows a specialist to closely examine the cervix. Most abnormal results do not mean cancer, but further checks may be needed.

Early pregnancy care

Specialist clinics are available for women up to 15 weeks pregnant who may be experiencing:

  • Bleeding or pain
  • Or, have had previous pregnancy loss (miscarriage)

These clinics provide assessment, reassurance and advice.

Gynae Oncology

We provide care for women with suspected or confirmed gynaecological cancers, such as cervical cancer, through local and regional services.

Menopause clinic

Our specialist menopause clinic supports women experiencing symptoms related to perimenopause and menopause.
