Supported living schemes provide a safe, stable, and therapeutic environment where individuals with mental health conditions can develop the life skills needed to live as independently as possible in the community.
The units are for adults who are over 18 years and who have mental health needs.
We work in partnership with the Northern Ireland Housing Executive to provide a range of support services to give people a home-like environment where they can build confidence and independence.
What support is provided?
- Staff are available to support people with daily living skills
- People are encouraged to make their own choices and decisions
- Support is person-centred (based on each person’s needs)
- Tenants are helped to move towards independence at their own pace
- Focus is on recovery and taking part in everyday activities
