The Service, Treatment, Education and Prevention Team has been developed to identify young people, between the ages of 14 and 34 years, who have an increased risk of developing psychosis. Most people seen by the service never develop such problems.
Using evidence-based assessment procedures; the service assesses and offers a range of psychological and social treatment packages aimed at delaying and preventing psychosis from occurring.
The STEP Team is made up of both psychology and psychiatry staff. Individuals are seen at various bases throughout the Trust.
