The Trust provides speech and language therapy in hospitals and in the community.
Speech and language therapists assess people who have problems with communication or swallowing. They work out what the problem is and support people with treatment and ongoing care.
Their goal is to help each person communicate as well as they can. They work closely with families, carers and other professionals.
Therapists also train others to support people with communication difficulties and help create environments that make communication easier.
