Stroke Survivor Support Group
This group offers ongoing support and opportunities for social connection following stroke.

Pets as Therapy (PAT) Service
Therapy dogs provide companionship, comfort and emotional support to patients during their hospital stay, helping to reduce anxiety, improve wellbeing and create positive opportunities for social interaction.
Therapy dog visits currently take place:
- Antrim Area Hospital Stroke Unit – every Thursday at 2:00pm
- Causeway Hospital Stroke Unit – alternate Tuesdays at 2:00pm
Visits are provided by trained volunteers and accredited therapy dogs through the Pets as Therapy charity.
