Tissue viability nurses work closely with many different healthcare professionals, including:
- Hospital consultants
- GPs
- Community and district nurses
- Paediatric nurses

- Learning disability nurses
They support patients of all ages.
Education and training
The service also provides training for healthcare staff on:
- Wound assessment
- Preventing pressure ulcers
