Nutrition and Dietetic Services

Dietitians provide assessment, diagnosis, care planning, treatment and health education services for children and adults across community and hospital settings in the Northern Trust area.

Our team of registered dietitians and dietetic assistants, apply the latest scientific research on food, health and disease to manage a wide range of health conditions for both adults and children.

We provide our services in all of our main hospitals and in the community.

All of our dietitians are registered with the national regulatory body, the Health and Care Professions Council,

How to access our services

The Nutrition and Dietetic service accepts referrals from any health care professional. If you feel you need our support, please discuss it with your GP, consultant, or any of your health care team.

For community referrals, we provide face to face clinics, virtual appointments and group sessions in a variety of locations across the Northern Trust area. As soon as an appointment is available, you will receive a letter inviting you to contact us to arrange a convenient appointment time and place.
