Regional dietetic services

Prescribing Support Dietetic Team

The Prescribing Support Dietetic Team is a regional team of dietitians who help to identify and treat malnutrition in the community.

If you are eating less than usual, you may be at risk of malnutrition. This could be due to a reduced appetite, being unwell, or not being able to go food shopping or prepare meals. We recommend that people who are at risk of malnutrition try to increase their nutritional intake by having regular snacks, nourishing drinks, and fortifying their food.

If you have concerns around your food intake or weight or need further advice please speak with your GP.
