The Northern Trust provides a range of mental health services, including community mental health services, addictions services, and specialised services for older adults.

Our services aim to promote wellbeing, offer support for various mental health conditions, and provide urgent support and crisis intervention.

SANE offers emotional support, advice, and information for anyone affected by mental health issues, including family members and carers.

Samaritans provide a listening service for anyone who is feeling distressed or overwhelmed.

Northern Trust Recovery College

The Northern Trust Recovery College is open to anyone aged 16 and over. It offers a safe space for people to learn together and build skills to support their mental health and wellbeing. You can join to help manage your recovery or to take the first steps towards improving your wellbeing.

People who attend our Recovery College courses include those with lived experience, carers, staff, volunteers, and members of the public.

Online Stress Control classes

These free online classes run over six sessions. They are designed to help you manage stress, especially during difficult or uncertain times.

The course uses proven techniques like cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), positive psychology, and wellbeing tools. It can also help with common issues such as anxiety, low mood, panic, poor sleep, low confidence and self-esteem.
