Cardiology Services

Our Cardiology Service provides specialist care for people with a range of heart conditions, including:

  • Ischaemic heart disease (such as heart attack and angina)
  • Heart rhythm disorders
  • Heart failure
  • Heart valve disease

We also support patients before and after cardiac procedures and surgery.

Investigations and treatments

We prepare and care for patients undergoing a range of cardiac investigations and procedures, including: Coronary angiography (dye test), pacemaker implantation, and implantable defibrillators.

You can be referred to cardiology services by:

  • Following attendance at the Emergency Department
