Exciting job opportunities available at Whiteabbey Nightingale Hospital
In September 2020 the Minister for Health announced that Whiteabbey Hospital would become a second Nightingale facility for Northern Ireland in preparation for a second wave of the coronavirus pandemic. This will be a regional service operating as an Enhanced Nursing and Therapies Rehabilitation and Step Down unit, providing extra bed capacity to aid the flow of patients from acute care.
We are delighted that the Whiteabbey Hospital site has been chosen to host this important and innovative regional Nightingale step-down service. We believe that Whiteabbey Hospital is an excellent central location with recently refurbished wards and the modern equipment needed to deliver this vital service.
